The communication jobs for the professionals of communications are diverse that includes agriculture, banking, government, social programs, healthcare and manufacturing. All sectors, industry and business need effective communication to succeed.
Communication degree can make you a communication specialist can work in advertising, research, human resources, training and sales and marketing departments. An individual can work for public relations firm or consulting, work as free lancer, in the three branches of government, in the Foreign Service, at universities, colleges, vocational and technical schools, medical services field and non-profit organizations.
For instance as a technical writer you can blend business communication courses with classes that are industry-specific to learn terminology and processes of the field you wish to enter. When working for firms of engineering, then you are required to talk like an employee of an engineer’s newsletters and memoranda. You will be required to pick such terms and translate it for the shareholders’ meetings and Annual Report like a financial analyst.
