Is it any surprise if we said, most of the internet traffic (if not all!) is generated through Google? Every survey ever taken about netizens suggests that ‘search’ is the ubiquitous activity over the internet, with not a dent in the figures even after social media and multimedia entered the picture. Which is exactly why SEO rose to the cadre of the most effective internet marketing option? There are no rules to SEO, no fixed methods and definitely no formula. Like any art, it cannot be perfected but can be constantly improvised which in turn provides better results every day.
You could say that there are thousands of results related to your product which means thousands of search results you need to compete with. But did you know that there are billions of unique searches that people make each month? If you can figure out at least a few of them related to your product, you already have an edge over the others! SEO needs a creative approach, a sharp mind and a policy to ‘give’ to the customer. You give a lot of free advice and information to your customer and you can be assured he would be visiting your site soon enough.
People search for a lot of things and a lot of times. But if they are searching for something, there is a good chance they want to buy it! And people would always keep searching. Now you know why SEO would never go out of fad. Whatever work you do for your search engine optimization will always be providing you with traffic unlike any ads you might place today and might have to remove tomorrow. You can affect up to 80% of the search engine algorithms through powerful SEO. And this isn’t a hack, but a valuable service to your customer!
